Its non-sectarian educational philosophy includes daily parent participation in the classroom. The intimate parent involvement creates an innovative, child-centered learning environment with a focus on fun for children ages 18 months to five years. This educational program was born of the cooperative organization of the school and stewarded by the astonishing and brilliant dedication of Barbara Klein for the last thirty-seven years. She founded and continues to oversee the educational program that is dedicated to helping children and families realize their inexhaustible capacity for love, learning and compassion. Saint Mary's is the nursery school where people bring their children when they don't want to send them anywhere. We are a family of families-a home away from home during parents' work hours. Saint Mary's is committed to providing the highest quality child care at an affordable tuition. Part of our mission is to provide early childhood care and education to children so that parents and guardians can be gainfully employed. Our dedication to serving all families means that not all of the school's expenses are covered by the tuition we charge. We rely on donations and grants to cover the balance.
